   Tauern motorway south to Bischofshofen, exit
   Gasteinertal, main road 167 to Gastein.
• From Innsbruck approx. 2 hours:
   Motorway to Wörgl, main road 312 to St.Johann/Tirol
   until Lofer, main road 311 to Zell am See until junction
   Gasteinertal, then main road 167 until Bad Hofgastein,
   1st roundabout ‘north’ or motorway - Kufstein - Salzburg
   - Villach, exit Gasteinertal, main road 167 until Gastein.
• From the south drive via Villach, Möllbrücke and
   Obervellach to Mallnitz and journey with the motorrail
   service to Gastein.

Euro, Intercity and Express services stop at the stations
Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein, however not all trains
stop at Dorfgastein. There are always taxi and bus connections to the individual areas of the region. The nearest loading station for cars is in Bischofshofen. A taxi baggage collection and delivery service is available.
